The purpose of the “How to Travel Like You Give a Damn” series is to bring awareness to the ways in which we as consumers contribute to the problem of overtourism and what choices we can make in order to be more responsible tourists. For my thesis project, I wrote and designed three books in the “How to Travel Like You Give a Damn” series, each one focusing on a European city that has been significantly impacted by overtourism.
Collage Process
Each collage is created using two images with similar views of the cities biggest tourist destination to emphasize the overwhelming number of people that crowd these areas, often all taking the same photos.
